Happiness is in a moment, Strength is in struggle and for a larger part of life , One remains dangling between life of constant struggles and life comparing oneself to another and wishing if one had more.
Crux of the matter is nothing is satisfying to us humans for long. Every goal means nothing once reached and there is always that need .....scratch that.....want for more.
Running in a maze.
Milestones in life add to the whole drama and what we have is a man made complex situation. What we do to one another while comparing ourselves is something else altogether.
Life is not easy anyhow for anyone. We feel money gives happiness , status gives happiness , fame gives happiness . Yes it does, but that happiness is just a bip of a moment.
What it takes away from your life is so much more that makes your feel hollow. A little more money, a little more recognition that "little more" just takes away so much value able things out of our lives. We make our selves believe that's how it's supposed to be , that's the price you pay..
Everyone pays so what is making you feel different?
Growing up , felt like being a kid is really harsh, no one takes you seriously, you are dependent on your parents for everything. One remembers dreaming to grow up and be able to take your decisions yourself, support yourself financially.
Have a say and be heard. The start of this process gives you a high and you feel " ok I have finally made it " this is it. But then it hits you when you see that the stairs go high up. Think about saving, making a bank balance, something to retire with, health insurance and what not. You get tangled in this adult life.
While still wanted to enjoy your life, grow at your job , have a bigger package... You somehow barter your life you worked for all this while and are left sitting in a cubicle for 10 hours minimum everyday, sleeping weekends to make up for the loss of sleep in the week.
That's not what the creater had in mind when you were put into existence.
Make time for more and live this life while it lasts.
